Welcome to The Island of the Dolls

The town of Xochimilco is located in southern Mexico City, and is known for its canals. The canals, built by the Aztecs, are much like what you would find in Venice, Italy. They provide water transport where visitors can take gondola-like boats to see the sights. Not only will you find sightseers, but there are also food vendors, artisans, and mariachi boats that travel the canals. Xochimilco is a fun and festive town, but is also home to an island – a haunted island. No visit to Xochimilco is complete without a trip to La Isla de las Muñecas, The Island of the Dolls.

Located in the countryside of Kyushu’s Fukuoka Prefecture, lies the lost Inunaki village, a place that exists apart from civilization as we know it. Smile.jpg

How many people can resist looking at a picture of a cute dog? I can’t think of any, even if you’re not a dog person, I’m guessing their pictures still make you go, “aww.” I think it’s safe to say that if you got an email with the subject “smile” you’d probably open it, especially if you knew who it was from. The email has a short message, and an attachment – smile.jpg.

Opening the picture, it’s just a dog, well – sort of. It looks like a Siberian husky, but its mouth is wrong. The dog has a wide grin, featuring two rows of very white, very sharp, and very human-looking teeth.

While all deaths are tragic, there are some that hit harder than others, such as murder or suicide. Some people die having left something unfinished. Often, we hear of the dead with unfinished business returning as ghosts. The concept of the dead returning as zombies is also well known. Games: Cat Scratch

Throughout history cats have made their mark. Going back to ancient Egypt, cats were revered. They played such a big role in their culture, that the mere export of cats was strictly prohibited. Further evidence can be seen in their goddess Bastet, commonly depicted as a cat, or woman with a cat’s head. Bastet was the keeper of hearth and home, a guardian against evil spirits and disease. Today, cats are mere pets, part of the family, or even bad luck, if you cross their path. Whether you love cats or hate them when it comes to the game, “Cat Scratch” it doesn’t matter.

Secure, Contain, Protect. That is the mission of The SCP Foundation.

Its skin and eyes lack pigmentation, and the subject appears void of body hair. Its arms reach out approximately 5 feet (1.4 meters) in length, highly disproportionate to the rest of the body. Its jaw can open four times more than that of the average human. Other than these few characteristics, SCP-096 appears human.

Siren Head

In 1986 there was a surge in the number of people entering the Himalayan mountains, and never leaving. Those who did escape reported hearing a loud ringing alarm, so loud they had to cover their ears and run, and even then suffered severe or complete hearing loss. They may not have known it at the time, but they had just come into contact with Siren Head.
